1977年に他界した
関根真紀の父であり、摩耶の祖父である
『貝澤守幸』は、地域を深く愛し、
今の工芸家たちに道を築きました。

アイヌ工芸への愛情が強く、
自宅の柱や家具など、さまざまな物に
アイヌ文様を施すなど、
守幸の遺志は今も大切に受け継がれています。

遺志を引き継いだ真紀の兄、貝澤守は、
守幸が築いた工芸家たちが所属する
二風谷民芸組合の代表理事を
現在務めています。

守幸の想いを継承し、
二風谷の工芸が未来にわたって受け継がれるよう、
katakとして精一杯努力していきます。

Moriyuki Kaizawa, who passed away in 1977,
was the father of Maki Sekine and grandfather of Maya Sekine.
He deeply loved his community and paved the way for the current generation of artisans.

With a strong passion for Ainu crafts,
he decorated various objects in his home,
including the pillars and furniture, with Ainu patterns.
His legacy continues to be cherished today.

Maki's brother, Mamoru Kaizawa,
who inherited Moriyuki’s spirit,
is currently serving as the president of the Nibutani Folk Craft Association,
which includes the artisans Moriyuki helped bring together.

伝統的なアイヌの文様を始め、アイヌ文化を肌で感じながら育ち、感性豊かに色々な作品を作り、これからというという時代に終わりを告げた。守幸の作品が彼の子供たちを始めとして、現在、二風谷で活躍している工芸形に多大な影響を与えている。

1935年　北海道平取町に生まれる

1951年　大工を職としつつ、テーブルに文様を施すなど木彫に関心を持つ。

1959年　旭川市に兄守雄を訪ね、本格的に木彫を始める。

1961年　平取町二風谷の木彫り共同作業場完成と同時に、指導者として二風谷に戻る。

1962年　「貝沢民芸」をオープンさせる。

1977年　8月永眠。



Moriyuki Kaizawa was immersed in traditional Ainu patterns and grew up experiencing Ainu culture firsthand.
His rich sensitivity allowed him to create various works. His passing marked the end of an era,
but his works have left a lasting influence on his children and the many artisans in Nibutani today.

1935: Born in Hiratori, Hokkaido
1951: Developed an interest in wood carving while working as a carpenter, decorating tables with Ainu patterns.
1959: Moved to Asahikawa City to visit his brother Mamoru, and began wood carving in earnest.
1961: Returned to Nibutani, Hiratori, to lead the wood carving cooperative, completing the facility.
1962: Opened "Kaizawa Folk Crafts."
1977: Passed away in August.
